We didn't start in a boardroom, we started in the field. Our background in housekeeping gave us a ground-level understanding of what it takes to keep a property truly guest-ready.
That insight is why we founded LunaSol. We saw owners being underserved by companies that treated homes like inventory. We built something different, boutique, hands-on, and shaped by real hospitality from the inside out.

Meet the team
Owner / Executive Director
Cristian Garcia
Cristian oversees LunaSol Vacations with experience across every sector of vacation rental management, including operations, revenue management, marketing, branding, finance, owner relations, and guest experience. His approach combines hands-on industry knowledge with strategic use of property management systems, strong financial oversight, and smart operational systems to create a more efficient and performance-driven management model. A University of West Florida finance graduate, Cristian focuses on building a hospitality brand that protects homeowners’ investments, maximizes property performance, and delivers a consistently high standard of service.

Barbara Franko
Barbara oversees LunaSol’s Pensacola operations, drawing on an entrepreneurial background and extensive experience in commercial and residential property management. Her expertise in contractor oversight, property maintenance, real estate, and project coordination allows her to manage the day-to-day care and performance of each home. Working closely with local vendors and service teams, Barbara ensures properties are well maintained, protected, and consistently prepared to meet LunaSol’s standards for homeowners and guests.
Charleston Partner & Brand Director
Pedro Mendez
Pedro leads LunaSol’s brand and marketing strategy while supporting the company’s growth and operations in the Charleston market. His work spans property positioning, listing optimization, content, digital marketing, and guest engagement, with a focus on strengthening both the LunaSol brand and the individual properties we represent. As a Charleston partner, Pedro also works closely with local operations and market development to expand LunaSol’s presence while maintaining a consistent standard across the portfolio.

“The stay was beautiful given the circumstances! We did end up checking in a day late due to the hurricane and it was just fine. We did not have Wi-Fi but that is not on LunaSol they were so responsive and helpful throughout the whole stay and made sure we were taken care of the best they could. I appreciate lunasol and would highly recommend them, I would gladly stay again at a property under better circumstances hopefully!”

“We really enjoyed our stay despite it being cut short by the incoming hurricane. The layout of the house and everything that was made available to us during our stay was amazing. Everything was so clean and immediately felt like our home away from home. Quick drive to the beach, restaurants, and grocery stores. When we ended up having to leave due to mandatory evacuations, we received a refund for the remaining dates of our reservation without issue. If/when we vacation in this area again, we would absolutely love to have the opportunity to rent this location again. 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfy, convenient spot to spend your vacation.”
