By the Sea on Perdido Key Dr

Side-by-side 8-plex across the street from direct beach access walkway. Some of 8-plex have permanent residents or tenants. We had downstairs unit. Clean with good amenities. One bedroom and one full bath with kitchen and sitting area. Nice deck on back. Did not use or view the pool. Walking distance to two restaurants - Shrimp Basket, and Lillian's Pizza (w/Sig's breakfast food truck in parking lot). Could hear upstairs unit walking on the floor and shower running, but was not really an issue. We were there for a wedding off Perdido Key on Big Lagoon. Was a perfect spot if you just need basic amenities and a nice location.

We loved our stay. The room is directly across the road from the beach so we could walk to it easily.

The noise from upstairs neighbors was a problem. They were up early and were not quiet. As with other reviewers, this caused sleep challenges. We also had a hard time with the mattress and bed. It was very unstable and knocked into the wall if we rolled over.

Me and my friends stayed for a few days to get away and this place was perfect! Super close to the beach and very close to several great spots to eat! Will definitely stay here again if I ever find myself in Perdido Key again.

The way it sounded it was on the beach (and it was not), that it was private and sadly the building looked like a motel. The people above and next door were stomping and pacing and we could hear them so loudly we had no sleep! Then the smoke alarm was going off and I am dead tired after all this. The idea was to have a relaxing vacation. The beach was across the street and I couldn’t find anywhere to read the location correctly.

For future guests reading this review, we want to clarify the property’s location. The condo is located just across Perdido Key Drive and includes deeded beach access, allowing guests to easily walk to the beach within a couple of minutes. While the property is not directly beachfront, the beach access point is very close and reflected in the listing map and location details. The condo is part of a multi-unit building, and like most condo properties, some noise from neighboring units can occasionally occur. Many guests enjoy the convenience of the beach access along with the amenities and the relaxed atmosphere of the Perdido Key area. Regarding the smoke alarm, we were notified during the stay and responded right away to address the issue as quickly as possible. We always aim to resolve any concerns promptly to ensure our guests remain comfortable. We appreciate the feedback and are always working to continue improving the guest experience.

Relaxing, chill place with full kitchen. Pool looked amazing and clean even though we did not find time to swim there. Beach access was across the street, and the general feel was quiet and relaxing. Management was professional and helpful.

Very clean, great beach access. Everything was amazing. Pool had issues with liner peeling but thats the HOA. Would rent again great trip.

Very clean and nicely decorated. Loved that they already had coffee and filters and a keurig ready to go. Location was great, in the middle of Pensacola and Orange Beach. Quick trips to wherever you wanted to go. Food was great everywhere we went. And traffic wasn’t bad. Weather was perfect. Even had a stingray swim past us.

We really enjoyed our stay at By the Sea - In Perdido Key! So close to the beach and centrally located to lots of places to eat and drink! We would book again for sure. Very well stocked with all the comforts of home!

We found this beautiful place for a last minute getaway. It was absolutely perfect! It was extremely clean, smelled great, and had enough starter items so that we could just relax and enjoy our time. Perdido is such a beautiful place, and it was such an easy walk to the boardwalk to the ocean. I really appreciate the extra thought in the items left for us so we weren’t buying bulk for just the 2 of us for a week. It was also a short drive to Johnson’s beach so we could fish. Close to so many great things but not a super busy area. Just a great property and managed so well. Thank you and I would highly recommend and we will be renting again.
