Back to top ↑LunaSol Vacations Operational Update
The following is a LunaSol Vacations company announcement, not official emergency guidance.
To prioritize the safety of our guests, team and community, LunaSol Vacations has temporarily suspended normal operations through the weekend while we focus on storm preparations.
- Guests with upcoming reservations: Please contact us directly at (850) 702-5740, info@LunaSolVacations.com, or through our contact form. We are reviewing every reservation individually and will reach out with options.
- Guests currently staying on Perdido Key or Pensacola Beach: These areas are under an evacuation order. Please follow official instructions, and let our team know once you have safely departed.
- Next update: We expect to reassess operations beginning Monday, October 12, depending on conditions and guidance from local officials. We will update this page as plans change.
How We're Preparing Our Homes
Our local team is working through a storm-preparation checklist at LunaSol-managed homes before conditions deteriorate:
- Securing outdoor furniture and loose items: Patio furniture, grills, umbrellas and anything that could become airborne is brought inside or secured.
- Inspecting properties: Checking doors, windows and exterior conditions ahead of the storm.
- Documenting conditions for insurance: Capturing dated photos and video of each home so owners have a clear pre-storm record if a claim is needed.
- Coordinating with homeowners: Keeping every owner informed about preparations and next steps.
Our homeowners trust us with one of their most important investments, and we take that responsibility seriously. After the storm passes and officials allow safe access, our team will inspect each home, document its condition, and share updates with homeowners and guests as quickly as conditions allow.
Homeowners: If you have questions about your property, call (850) 702-5740 or email info@LunaSolVacations.com.
Back to top ↑Supporting Our Community
LunaSol Vacations is a local company with family roots in the Perdido Key area going back about 15 years. This coastline is our home, and the people who live and work here are our neighbors.
The days after a storm are when neighbors need each other most. Our first priorities are the safety of our guests and team, protecting our homeowners' properties, and supporting local recovery efforts however we can. Please check on your neighbors, follow official guidance, and stay off the roads when asked so first responders can do their work.
Back to top ↑Furnished Housing for Recovery Crews & Disaster Relief Workers
After a storm, many people travel to the region to help us rebuild. To the out-of-town professionals who will be supporting Pensacola, Perdido Key and Pensacola Beach — thank you, and welcome:
- Emergency responders and public-safety teams
- Restoration, mitigation and cleanup crews
- Contractors, roofers and building trades
- Utility and line workers
- Insurance adjusters
- Disaster recovery and relief organizations
Homes built for extended stays
LunaSol Vacations manages furnished homes and condos across Perdido Key, Pensacola Beach and the greater Pensacola area that work well for crews and longer assignments:
- Full kitchens for home-cooked meals after long shifts
- Laundry available at many properties
- Multiple bedrooms so teams can stay together
- Extended and monthly stays, with one local point of contact
- Multi-home arrangements for larger crews and companies
Important: availability after the storm
No LunaSol property will be offered for occupancy until our team has inspected it after the storm and confirmed it is safe and ready, and local authorities have reopened access. Availability shown online may change, and we will confirm each home's condition directly with you before any stay begins.
Why booking local matters
When crews and companies book directly with a local vacation rental company, more of those dollars stay on the Gulf Coast — supporting local housekeepers, maintenance technicians, homeowners and the small businesses that keep our community running. Choosing local lodging is one more way to help the area recover.
Need housing for a crew?
Crew coordinators, project managers and company travel teams: contact us for availability, multi-home group arrangements and extended-stay options as properties are cleared. Call (850) 702-5740 or email info@LunaSolVacations.com and include your crew size, preferred area, expected dates and number of homes needed.
Need housing for your crew?
We'll confirm availability as properties are cleared and connect you with our local team directly.
